King of the Jungle
The lion, king of the jungle,
Proud and strong, with a mighty roar.
His mane a golden crown,
His eyes a piercing gleam.
Once he roamed free,
A mighty force to be reckoned with.
But now his kingdom is shrinking,
As concrete jungles rise.
His once mighty roar
Is now a faint cry,
A reminder of days gone by.
But even as he faces challenges,
He remains a symbol of power and strength.
For his eyes still burn with the fire of a true king,
A reminder that he will always reign supreme.
So let us remember the lion,
King of the jungle,
And do our part to protect his wild domain.
For his eyes, and the eyes of future generations,
Deserve to see a world where they can roam free.
About Kai Saarto
In order to spend more time with his family, Kai Saarto (b. 1974) traded his successful career in journalism for the uncertain income of an artist. He paints exclusively on digital oils, with results that are virtually impossible to tell from a real oil paintings. Most of his artistic work is privately commissioned portraits, but he also has an ever expanding portfolio of prints. These are from various subjects, including street scenes, landscapes, military equipment and works inspired by video games. Kai Saarto lives in city of Turku, Finland, with his wife, sons and two crazy springer spaniels.
